What Information We Collect

We collect information in two main ways: information you give us directly, and information collected automatically.

Information you provide:

• Account information: your name and email address when you register
• Business data: the clients, projects, tasks, notes, and payment records you create inside Trakkli
• Payment information: for Pro plan subscribers, billing details are processed by Whop, our payment provider. We do not store your card details on our servers — all payment information is handled securely by Whop.
• Communications: any messages you send us via email or support channels

Information collected automatically:

• Usage data: pages visited, features used, and actions taken within the app — used to improve the product
• Device & browser information: browser type, operating system, and screen size, used for compatibility purposes
• IP address: collected for security and fraud prevention purposes

We do not collect sensitive personal data such as government IDs, health data, or financial account information beyond what is needed to process subscription payments.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the Trakkli service
• Create and manage your account
• Process payments and manage subscriptions
• Send you important service communications (account confirmations, billing receipts, security alerts)
• Send product updates and launch announcements, if you have opted in
• Respond to your support requests and feedback
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not use your business data (clients, projects, tasks, payments) for any purpose other than providing the service back to you. We do not use it for advertising, analytics products, or any third-party purpose.

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored in Google Firebase, a secure cloud infrastructure provided by Google. Firebase complies with major security standards including ISO 27001 and SOC 2.

We implement the following security measures:

• All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections
• Access to your data is restricted to your account through Firebase's authentication system
• We apply Firebase Security Rules to ensure users can only access their own data
• We do not store passwords in plain text — authentication is handled via Firebase Auth

While we take security seriously and apply industry best practices, no system is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data and encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account.

In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you in accordance with applicable law.

Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your data. Ever.

We share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

• Service providers: We use third-party services to operate Trakkli, including Google Firebase (data storage and authentication) and Whop (payment processing for Pro plan subscriptions). These providers access only what is necessary to perform their function and are bound by confidentiality obligations.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, or government authority.
• Business transfers: If Trakkli is acquired or merges with another company, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before this happens and your rights under this policy will continue to apply.
• With your consent: We may share information in other circumstances with your explicit consent.

Cookies & Tracking

Trakkli uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies to keep the service working and to understand how it is used.

Essential cookies: Required for the service to function, such as keeping you logged in. You cannot opt out of these while using the service.

Analytics: We may use basic analytics tools (such as Google Analytics or Firebase Analytics) to understand aggregate usage patterns — for example, which features are used most. This data is anonymised and not linked to individual users.

We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels. We do not retarget you with ads across the web.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling cookies may affect some functionality of the service.

Your Rights & Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

Marketing emails: You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or by contacting us directly. You will still receive essential service emails.

Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the service.

If you delete your account:

• Your business data (clients, projects, tasks, payments, and follow-ups) is permanently and immediately deleted upon confirmation — there is no recovery period
• Your account information (name, email) is removed from our systems immediately
• Billing records held by Whop may be retained for up to 7 years to comply with financial regulations — this is outside our control
• Anonymised usage data may be retained indefinitely as it cannot be linked back to you

We may retain certain information for a longer period if required by law or to resolve disputes.

Children's Privacy

Trakkli is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at support.trakkli@gmail.com and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email and/or display a prominent notice within the app before the changes take effect.

We encourage you to review this policy periodically. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects when the most recent changes were made.

Your continued use of Trakkli after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
